WHERE WE'RE LOCATED
PCAC is located in eastern West Virginia in the heart of the appalachain region. The elevation ranges from about 2000' in the
mountain valleys, with a high point of 4687' on mace knob.

The majority of Pocahontas County is set aside for all to enjoy as the Mongahelia National Forest. PocahontasCounty contains more
than one third of the 919,000 acres that the Mongahelia National Forest consists of. A vast paradise of forest land and natural
wilderness areas, it has hundreds of miles of trails and back roads to explore.

Pocahontas County is home to a thriving tourism industry with Snowshoe Ski Resort, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, the Durbin
Rocket steam train, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, numerous quaint towns and farming communities.

We invite you to come to Pocahontas County and enjoy the country side and learn or improve an artistic skill with one of our
